1 lb fresh lump crab meat
1 medium onion, chopped fine
4 oz crisco vegetable oil
3 oz cider vinegar
4 cups ice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Divide chopped onion in half and spread 1/2 over the bottom of a large mixing bowl.
Place crab meat over onions spread the second half of onion over this.
Salt and pepper to taste
Pour all in the following order: the oil and vinegar and lastly ice (ice on top)
Cover and place in refrigerator to marinate from 2 to 12 hours
When ready to serve, toss lightly, but do not mix.
