Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 fryer (Leave fat on chicken, that's what makes good dumplings.)
salt to taste
1 cup broth
pepper to taste
self-rising flour
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Stew chicken in water and remove when done. Take one cup of broth and add pepper; cool. When cool enough, add enough self-rising flour to make batter. Roll thin(may have to divide). Drop one at a time. May take 4 times dropping. Let cook between. Don't stir! Stir "only" enough to separate dumplings. When done, add milk but don't let boil.

You can divide chicken and save other half for another time.
