Dough, left over from making kraut strudels.

Regular or powder sugar

1. Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 6" circle, 1/4" thick. Make 3 slits into circle.
2. Fry in hot canola oil till both sides are brown.
3. Drain on paper towel then sprinkle regular or powder sugar on grebble.

Best when eaten warm. As a child I liked grebbles better than kraut strudels. My taste has changed as an adult. I would roll the grebbles while Mom fried the strudel.
