2 tbsp. olive oil
3 gloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, diced
2 lbs. ground beef
3 55 oz. cans of tomato or marinara sauce
2 tsp. Italian dressing
salt and pepper to taste
1 bunch broccoli, chopped small
1 bell pepper, diced
16 oz. cavatappi, cooked but not al dente
15 oz. ricotta
1 lb. mozzarella, grated
1/2 c parmesan, grated
1/2 c asiago, grated
1 egg
minced parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Using a large pot, saute garlic and onion in oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and pepper. After the meat browns, but still has a tinge of pink, add marinara sauce, oregano and basil, then allow the pot to simmer.

Add broccoli and bell pepper a few minutes before using the sauce.

Cook the cavatappi pre al dente. Drain and cool.

In a large bowl, mix the ricotta, egg, salt, pepper and the mozzarella. Gently toss in the pasta.

Layer pasta and sauce in a large baking dish, ending with the sauce mixture.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes until bubbling.
