1 lb. can apricot halves
9 oz. canned pineapple tidbits
2 T. vinegar
1 t. whole cloves
4 sticks cinnamon
2 (3 oz.) packages orange jello
3/4 c. boiling water
3/4 c. apricot nectar
1/2 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Drain apricot halves and pineapple tidbits, reserving syrups. Combine syrups with vinegar, cloves and cinnamon sticks, bring to boil. Simmer 10 minutes, strain - add hot water to mixture to make 2 cups liquid. Pour over 3 oz. package orange jello. Chill to partially set. Fold in drained apricots, cut in half, and pineapple. Pour in 6 cup jello mold. Chill till almost firm. Meanwhile, dissolve one 3 oz. package orange jello in 3/4 c. boiling water - add 3/4 c. apricot nectar. Chill till partially set, whip till fluffy. Swirl in sour cream. Pour over first layer. Chill at least 8 hours or overnight.

This has been the family favorite for the past 25 years! We make it every Christmas and sometimes for Thanksgiving as well! Give yourself plenty of time - make the day before your dinner!
