2 lbs. cut up stew meat or chuck roast (not browned)
4 carrots cut up slightly larger than bite size
4 potatoes cut up slightly larger than bite size
1 cup diced celery
2 cups stewed tomatoes or V-8 juice
1/2 pkg.(1/4 cup) Lipton onion soup mix
3 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1/8 tsp. each: marjoram, thyme and rosemary

Mix all ingredients together in a casserole or Dutch oven. Cover and bake 6 hours at 250º. Last 20 minutes uncover and add 1 pkg. frozen peas if desired.
