1 cup cold butter or margarine *(see note)
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped almonds
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 8 oz. carton Cool Whip
3 peaches, medium or 4 smaller ones- peeled and thinly sliced
1 container (14oz) peach glaze ** see note for making your own

Cut butter into flour until crumbly, add almonds. Press into 9X13 pan and bake at 350º for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, beat in Cool Whip. Spread on crust, arrange peach slices on this layer, carefully spread glaze over this and refrigerate.

**Homemade peach glaze: Mix 1 cup sugar, 2 tbsp. corn starch, 1 cup water. Boil until clear and thick add 3 tbsp. peach jello.

* We prefer a thinner crust so I use 3/4 cup butter and 1 1/2 cup flour
