3 cups flour
1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 stick margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup water
pie filling of your choice

Blend together. Let chill one hour. Roll small amount of dough out at a time. Roll thin and cut out circles using a saucer for a pattern. Stack on top of each other and cover with plastic wrap. Put in refrigerator overnight. They will keep for a week.

You can use any kind of pie filling you like or cook dried fruit according to pkg. Cook your fruit (if dried) and chill overnight.

Carefully lift one crust off pile. Fill with about 2 tbsp. of fruit. Dip your finger in water and run around rim of crust. Fold one half over the fruit and seal to other half making a half-moon shape. Take fork and go around edge. Fry in skillet until brown.
