1/2 lb bowtie pasta
1 T olive oil
3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
1 (28 oz) can Italian plum whole tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
3 T. vodka (optional)
3/4-1 c heavy cream
Parmesan cheese, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta. While cooking ppasta, heat oil in a large deep skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 2-3 minutes until soft. Add tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, drain pasta. Add pasta to tomato sauce. Add vodka and toss to coat. Stir in cream and heat through. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
**May serve with grilled chicken or add sautee' shrimp to the pasta.
