Ingredients: Taking any bread maker white bread recipe and convert it to sweet bread (just add more sugar). My white bread recipe calls for 2 tsps of white sugar and I just add ¼ cup instead. Use the dough setting on the breadmaker.

Directions:Once the dough is ready, butter up a large pan – I use a 10 x 17 pan and get about 3 doz buns from my dough. Work your dough into buns about 1-11/2 inches in diameter. Place in the pan. Take 2 cups brown sugar and 1 cup whipping cream, mix together and pour over your buns. Then set them somewhere warm to rise for 45min – 1 hour. Bake at 350°F for about 20 min or until buns are a golden brown. Take them and flip them onto a tray so that the caramel sauce drips down the sides of the buns. |

Notes: I am sure you all remember Grandma’s juicy buns. For us Friesen kids growing up it was a special treat to go to Grandma and Grandpa’s house and have her wonderful cinnamon juicy buns. Trying to get a recipe from Grandma was hard though. She says she never had any of them written down, she just made them. I manage to figure out how to duplicate her juicy buns and the following is my converted recipe. I use my bread maker so that I don’t have to make huge batches… Grandma’s juicy buns are best eaten on the same day they are made.
Enjoy… but don’t make your self sick on them… they are addictive!
