1 c butter or margarine
1/2 white sugar
2 1/2 c flour

1 c butter
6 T corn syrup
1 c brown sugar
1 tin Sweetened Condensed Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients together to a fine crumble for the base. Pat into a 9x13 pan. Bake for 20 min at 325º.

Mix next four ingredients together and bring slowly to a boil. Continue cooking and stirring all the time, on medium heat for 6 minutes. Pour over the hot base when it comes out of the oven, then cool totally, best overnight.

Melt 1 square unsweetened baking chocolate and 1 square semi-sweet and 1 T butter. Spread very thin over the cold caramel. Chill. Cut into small squares.
