2 C PICKLING VINEGAR
2 TBSP COARSE SALT
1 TSP TUMERIC
1 TSP CELERY SEED
1 TSP MUSTARD SEED
1 LARGE RED PEPPER THINLY SLICED
1 GREEN PEPPER THINLY SLICED
1 LARGE SPANISH ONION THINLY SLICED
5 OR MORE CUCUMBERS WASHED AND SLICED TO FILL YOUR BUCKET ¾ FULL (bucket = ice cream pail size bucket

Measure your sugar, vinegar, salt, turmeric, celery seed and mustard seed in a bucket until the sugar is dissolved. Add peppers and onion then add your cucumber to fill up to the level of the liquid. Let stand for 2 hours, stir and mixture will shrink. You may want to add more cucumbers now. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to 1 year. You can eat them after 3 days
