CUT INTO CHUNKS INTO STERILIZED JARS
BRINE: 1 C SUGAR, 1 C VINEGAR, ½ C WATER
BRING TO A BOIL AND POUR OVER BEETS IN JARS.
ADD 3 OR 4 WHOLE CLOVES ON TOP AND SEAL HOT.
