1/2 cup granulated Sugar
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup cooking Oil
1 large Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
2 1/2 Cups of Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp. Cream of Tartar
1/4 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars, butter, oil, egg and flavorings in an electric mixer. Sift dry ingredients together; add to wet mixture and mix well. Drop dough on cookie sheets in small mounds, between a filbert and walnut size, 24 to a sheet. Press centers firmly with a small glass (dipped in water) then dipped in granulated sugar.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes or until just beginning to show color.
