1 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 c grated cheese
4 c thinly sliced apples
1/2 c sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 c milk

Topping:
2 T flour
1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 T butter
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix. Add dry ingredients alternatively with milk. Turn half of batter into greased 8" square pan. Add the following in layers. 1/2 c cheese, 2 c apples, then remaining cheese, batter and apples.

Make course crumbs for topping. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350º
