Ingredients: Graham Cracker Crust Ingredients: 1.5 cups of fine graham cracker crumbs (I buy the Honey-Maid packs and pound one in a plastic bag. It's super fun.) 1/3 cup sugar 6 tablespoons butter, melted 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pie filling Ingredients: 3 cups sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup sour cream 3/4 cup key lime juice (I buy it bottled) 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
Whipped Cream Ingredients 1 cup heavy whipping cream or heavy cream 2-4 tablespoons sugar 1-2 tsp of flavored extract or syrup (Vanilla is always good but I have also done half vanilla extract and half maple syrup)

Directions:Directions Mix crust ingredients together. Pack it evenly into a pie plate. Bake at 375 for 7 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350. Mix pie filling ingredients together and pour it in your beautiful pie crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Whip the cream with a mixer until it just starts looking like whipped cream. Beat in the sugar and extract. I like to taste and experiment at this point. Sometimes you'll want a sweeter cream topping or sometimes you'll want a stronger extract flavor. Just don't overbeat; you've gone too far if your whipped cream starts looking lumpy. Spoon the whipped cream on the cooled pie, and garnish with some leftover lime zest. |

Notes: I took a chance on this recipe after getting a serious hankering for key lime pie. I didn't regret it! It was the best key lime pie I think I've ever had!
