Take - 2 Gallons of Molasses
Take - 4 Oz. of Hops
Take - 2 Oz. ground Spice
Take - 2 Oz. ginger
Take - 2-1/2 Oz. Essence of Spruce

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the Hops in 6 Gallons of Water. After Boiling 20 minutes add the spice and ginger then Boil the whole until the Hops sink. Then strain off, put into the barrel when hot which Should Be previously filled half full of Cold Water. Then put in the Molasses and Spruce, fill up with Cold Water, add 2 quarts good yeast. Stir well together and Bung up.
