1 1/2 c flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c butter
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. maple flavoring
1/2 c brown sugar
Pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk (reserve white of second egg for "glue").

Blend in flavorings and mix in dry ingredients. Chill.

Form chilled dough into teaspoon sized balls and dip bottoms in reserve egg white. Use pecan halves to make arms, legs and head. Bake on a greased cookie sheet 10-13 minutes in a 350º oven. Do not over bake. Frost when cool.

Frosting

Stir 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate, 1/4 c milk and 3 tbsp. butter in saucepan until melted. Remove from heat and add 1 c powdered sugar. ( If too thin, add more sugar)
