1 c brown sugar
1 c granulated sugar
2 c shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon and a little vanilla
6 c flour
1 tsp. soda (put soda in hot water)
1 c nut meats, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening and pour over sugars. Beat. Beat eggs well and mix into sugar mixture. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and soda. Stir in flour and nuts. Divide dough and roll into two or three rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill in refrigerator over night or put in freezer.

Bake at 425º for five to six minutes
