1 C butter (no substitutions), softened
1 C confectioners' sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
1/2 tsp salt

For Filling
3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 C confectioners' sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C finely chopped pecans
1/2 C flakes coconut

Topping:
1/2 c semisweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven 350º

Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add the creamed mixture mixing well. Shape into 1/2 to 1" balls. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Make an indention in the center of each cookie.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges just start to brown.

Place cookies on a wire rack to cool completely. Make filling. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add pecans and coconut, mix well. Spoon about 1/2 tsp into each cookie indention. Make topping. Heat chocolate, butter and water in small saucepan until melted. Stir in sugar. Drizzle over cookies
