"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Here is what you will need:

• 1 gallon of white vinegar

•2 Cups Epson Salt

•1/4 Cup of dish soap (any brand) I used Dawn

•Empty spray bottle

Directions:
Directions:
Put salt in the empty spray bottle and fill it the rest of the way up with white vinegar. Add a squirt of liquid dish soap.

This solution works best if you use it on a hot day. Spray it on the weeds in the morning, and as it heats up it will do its work. Check out my before and after photos. I took the first photo right before I sprayed the weeds and the after photo about 24 hours later.

This homemade weed killer will work great along my retaining walls where weeds love to hide in the cracks between the bricks. Be careful where you spray this stuff, even though it is non-toxic to humans and animals, it will kill any plant life
