7 slices white bread, regular, not thin
8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 eggs
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of hot sauce
3 strips bacon, cut in half

Directions:
Trim crusts from bread; crumble bread. Mix bread and cheese. Spread in bottom of 9 x 12 baking dish.

Beat eggs and milk; add salt, pepper and dry mustard. Pour over bread/cheese mixture. Lay half slices of uncooked bacon over the top. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350º for 50-55 minutes.

Remove from oven just as guests are sitting down, otherwise it may sink, but will taste just as delicious!
