1 whole chicken
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can tomato puree
6 potatoes peeled and cubed
1 onion diced
2 slices of bacon
1 small bag of frozen butter beans
1 can corn
2 carrots peeled and sliced
1 green pepper diced
1/2 c sugar or less
salt and pepper to taste
2-3 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a very large pot. Cook on medium heat until it starts boiling and then cut heat back to medium low. Let simmer for 3-4 hours. As the chicken cooks you start pulling the bones and skin out.
