Topping: 6 Tbs (3 oz) butter melted 1/2 cup (3 3/4 oz) pkd brown sugar 1/2 cup (1 3/4 oz sugar 1 cup (4oz) diced pecans optional
Dough: 4 cup unbleached self-rising flour 2 cup heavy cream ( 16 oz)
Filling: 1 cup (5 3.8 oz) Cinnamon/sugar 1.4 cup (2oz) water

Preheat oven to 425 degrees with rack in upper third. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch pan.
Make Topping: Pour butter into pan, tilting to cover bottom of pan well. Sprinkle the sugars and nuts on top of butter.
Make Dough: Stir together flour and cream to make a smooth dough. Turn it out onto lightly greased work surface. Gently roll dough into a 24 x 8 inch rectangle.
Make Filling: Stir together cinnamon and water.
Spread filling evenly over dough. Roll up lenghtwise into a log. Position it so the seam is facing downward. Slice into 24 pieces, and place into ready pan.
Bake buns for about 25-28 minutes, until they're bubbly and lightly browned on top.
Remove the buns from oven, immediately turn them out onto a serving plate. Quickly scrape any syrup and nuts from pan onto buns.
