1 c. + 2
t sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 nutmeg
1 1/2 sticks + 2 T. cold butter
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. blueberries or 1 can topping

Heat oven to 375. Whisk together four, 1 c. sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend 1 1/2 sticks of butter into flour with two knives or your fingers until it resembles course peas. Transfer 1 1/2 c. of the flour mixture to another bowl to save for the topping. To that add last 2 T. of butter and 2 T. sugar and blend with your fingers into large lumps. Whisk together eggs, sour cream and vanilla then add the remaining flour, stir until just combined. Fold berries into the batter or put batter in a 13" x 9" pan and spread topping over it. Then sprinkle the topping mixture over the top. Bake in the middle shelf of the oven until tester comes out clean, approximately 40 min, Cool in the pan and cut while just warm.
