1/4 c. walnuts
1/4 c. pine nuts
3 T. chopped garlic (9 cloves)
5 c. fresh basil leaves, packed
1 t. kosher salt
1 t. black pepper
1 1/2 c. olive oil
1 c. freshly grated Parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Place walnuts, pine nuts and garlic in bowl of food processor. Process for 15 seconds. Add basil, salt and pepper. With processor running, slowly pour olive oil into bowl through feed tube and process until pesto is thoroughly pureed. Add Parmesan and puree for a minute. Use right away on your favorite pasta or store in refrigerator or freezer with a thin film of olive oil on top.
