1 - 1/2 lb. boneless round steak
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. vegetable shortening
1 - 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/2 cup celery
1/2 cup grated carrot
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into serving slices. Combine flour and salt, pound flour into meat, reserving remaining flour for sauce. Brown meat in hot shortening. Transfer meat to shallow baking dish. Blend reserved flour mixture into pan drippings in skillet. Add tomatoes, celery, carrot, onion and Worcestershire sauce to drippings and cook, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 350º F for 2 hors or until meat and veggies are tender.
Sprinkle cheese over meat and let melt.
Serve.
