2 packages yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup warm water.

1 cup scalded milk
1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons butter (I usually use margarine)
3 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 beaten eggs.


Topping
3/4 c. white sugar, 3/4 c. brown sugar , 1 c. flour 1/2 c melted butter. Cinnamon to taste.
Other toppings: Apple pie filling, cherry pie filling and peach pie filling.

Stir yeast & sugar mixed into warm water.

Mix scalded milk, sugar, butter (add butter to milk while heating)
When cool add yeast mixture.
Add flour, salt, beaten eggs.
Add 2 1/2 cups flour or enough to handle easily.
Put in greased bowl and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.
Punch down and divide in six parts put in pans (I use pie pans) let rise again about 30 minuets.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
