4 medium potatoes

Directions:
Scrub the potatoes( use as many as are required or will fit in your slow cooker in a single layer, allowing room for a little movement). Make a slit in the skin of each potato and oil them all well.

Arrange the potatoes in the pot, cover and cook on HIGH for 3.5 to 4 hours( the time will vary slightly with the size of the potatoes and make of the cooker). Place in a serving dish and dot with butter. Serve with roasts or cold meats. I add salt and pepper and sometimes an onion.
