2.5 cups milk
1/4 cup short grain rice
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. butter
grated nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Put the milk, rice and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring. Pour into the slow cooker, dot with the butter and sprinkle with a little grated nutmeg. Cover and let cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

After pudding is done, I add some boiled raisins. May be doubled.
