4 c. white sugar
4 c. vinegar
8 c. water
4 Tbsp. pickling salt
2 tsp. turmeric

Directions:
Directions:
Slice cucumbers into 1" pieces and place into jars with garlic and dill on bottom. Boil the brine well (about 5 minutes) and pour over the cucumbers while still hot. Place sealed jars into hot water and process until cucumbers change color.
Makes enough brine for 7 qts.
