1 large onion
1 small bunch celery, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/3 c. parsley, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/3 c. olive oil
1 (1 lb. can) tomato paste
1 (1 lb.) can water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can red wine
3 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute fresh vegetables in olive oil for about 15 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for hours (at least 5 or 6). Add seafood. I add chunks of cod, scallops, shrimp, clams in shells, and lots of crab legs and bodies. Simmer about another 1/2 hour. Serve with lots of garlic bread and plenty of napkins.
