1/4c. chopped onion
1/4c. chopped celery
1/4lb. dried beef, shredded
1/4c. margarine or butter
4T. flour
2c. milk
2c. cooked macaroni (1c. uncooked)
1/4tsp. pepper
1/2tsp. salt
1T. minced parsley
1/3c. grated American Cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Saute' onion, celery, dried beef, and margarine until lightly browned, stirring frequently.
Add Flour; stir well
Add milk and cook until thickened as for white sauce.
Add salt, parsley and pepper; stir well.
Place cooked macaronie in casserole dish.
Pour sauce over.
Add Cheese and, with fork, stir lightly into casserole.
Bake 20 min in 350º oven or until bubbly and brown.
