375 ml (1 1/2 c) Catelli Ready Cut Macaroni
25 ml (2 tbsp.) vegetable oil
1 onion sliced
1/2 green pepper slivered
1 clove garlic minced
375 g (3/4 lb) ground beef
5 ml (1 tsp) oregano
5 ml (1 tsp) salt
1 ml (1/4 tsp) pepper
1 (796 ml-28 oz) can tomatoes
1 (156 ml-5 1/2 oz) can tomato paste
1 (128 ml-4 1/2 oz) can mushroom pieces

Cook macaroni according to pkg directions and drain. Rinse with cold water and set aside. Meanwhile sauté onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until tender. Add meat and seasonings and brown. Drain off excess fat. Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 min. Stir in cooked macaroni and mushrooms with their liquid. Heat well and serve immediately.
