3 loaves French bread
2 sticks margarine or butter
4 x 6 oz. Piloncillos
1 lb Monterey Jack cheese (may need a little more)
3 cups Raisins
3 cups shelled Planter’s peanuts (salted)
8-10 oz. Bag of coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Fill large pot with 15-16 cups of water. Add 4 x 6 oz piloncillos, 3 cups of peanuts and 3 cups of raisins. Bring pot to boil, then let simmer for about 30 minutes. While liquid mixture is heating, cut French bread into slices. Toast slices in the oven. Melt butter. Brush butter on bread (one or both sides)

Grate cheese Layer buttered bread in baking pan. (Pan should be deep. A roasting pan works best.) Sprinkle grated cheeses over first layer of bread. Sprinkle coconut over cheese. Ladle liquid mixture over cheese layer. Repeat process until all bread is used Cover and cook in 350  over for about 30 minutes.
