3 c. flour
1 c. warm water
1/3 c. milk
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and warm water then knead until dough is soft but not sticky. Best to let stand, covered, at room temperature for 15 minutes. Then form into biscuit size balls. Roll or use hands to flatten until diameter of medium size frying pan. Preheat to very hot, about 1 to 2 cups Crisco oil in frying pan. Gently lay each piece in very hot oil, turning until brown on both sides. Remove and drain.
Serve like a tostada with refried beans, cheese, lettuce and salsa.
