8 cups flour
4 cups sugar
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon baking powder
Four eggs
1 pound butter (four sticks)
1 16 ounce carton of sour cream
2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and let cool.
Mix all dry ingredients in one mixing bowl.
Beat eggs add vanilla and butter.
Mix and then add sour cream.
Add dry ingredients a little at a time, mix well after each addition.
Divide dough into two balls.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Roll into balls and then roll in powdered sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes on a lightly greased pan.
As soon as you take cookies out, press one half of a maraschino cherry on top. Take off trade quickly.
