6-7 med red potatoes
1 cp frozen or fresh peas
1 ½ cps milk
3 Tbsp flour
Salt & Pepper

Directions:
Boil the potatoes whole until done. Drain and cool enough to handle them. Peel and cube the potatoes.

Put the milk in a med saucepan. Add the flour and whisk till well blended. You don’t want any lumps. Add the salt and pepper to taste. Cook it over med-low heat till it begins to thicken, stir it frequently or you’ll get a paste on the bottom of the pan.

When the milk has thickened add the cube potatoes and peas to it. Continue to heat on low another 15-20 minutes.

Keep it on low heat to make it thicker.

Add milk 1 Tbsp at a time to thin it down.

This is something that Mom made for me on special occasions when I was little. Of course it's best when made with fresh peas.
