Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound of Jimmy Dean Sausage – Regular flavor
Bisquick
Flour
1 can Evaporated Milk (unsweetened)
Milk
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Biscuits - Make biscuits according to the recipe on the Bisquick box & pre-heat the oven.
Make biscuits first so they can sit on the stove and rise while you make the gravy.
When cutting the biscuits, go straight down with the biscuit/cookie cutter (no twisting or the biscuits may not rise). If you don’t have a cookie cutter, you can use the top of a drinking glass (like Grandma always did). Place the biscuits on a cookie sheet touching one another.
Gravy – use 1 pound of Jimmy Dean Regular sausage. In a large skillet, brown sausage and separate into small pieces. DO NOT DRAIN. Once all of the sausage has browned, add ½ cup of All Purpose flour. (You can also add the Bisquick that is left on the counter from making the biscuits.) Add flour slowly to the sausage as you stir, until all of the sausage is coated with the flour mixture. Continue to brown the sausage and flour mixture and keep stirring to break the sausage into smaller pieces, just like grandmas.
Next, add salt & pepper to taste – (Grandma always went heavy on the salt & pepper). Make sure there is no loose flour in the skillet when you add the milk, or you will have lumps.
Add one can of Evaporated milk to sausage & flour mixture – stirring as you add. Then add one can of water.
After adding milk and water, put biscuits in the oven – bake according to Bisquick directions.
Bring gravy to a boil – once it boils, turn the heat down to low. The gravy should start to thicken up. Slowly add 1 cup of milk. Allow gravy to thicken, stirring as needed to avoid lump. Add more milk if needed for proper consistency. The gravy should be boiling and ready when the biscuits come out of the oven.
Crumble biscuits on plate. Add desired gravy to crumbled biscuits. Enjoy!
