Notes: One of the informal rules of our house is no cooking during the work week. Because of this (and a general lack of time after work), we do most of our cooking on the weekends. Kevin and I love to make a big pot of chili on Saturday or Sunday (especially in the fall and winter) and to let it get us through the week. It's great by itself or with lettuce and veggies as a taco salad. I'm more of a taco salad girl but Kevin prefers chili in a bowl with cheese and tortilla chips.
As the saying goes, cooks are made but bakers are born. Neither of us are bakers as you can tell from our very general ingredient measurements. Add the ingredients to suit your personal preferences.
