4 slices toasted bread
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup raisins
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
few grains salt
1 cup Evaporated Milk
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Spread toasted bread with butter and cut into quarters.
2. Place buttered side up in greased 1 1/4-quart baking dish.
3. Sprinkle raisins over toast.
4. Mix eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, evaporated milk, boiling water and vanilla. Whisk while adding the boiling water so the eggs don't scramble.
5. Pour over toast and let stand 10 minutes.
6. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over top.
7. Bake in 350°F oven 35 minutes or until knife inserted near edge comes out clean.
