2 cups flour (sift flour before measuring)
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg - slightly beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl sift the dry ingredients and combine.

In a separate bowl combine: The slightly beaten egg, Buttermilk and Vanilla.

Slowly add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients, mix well.

Spoon into muffin tin.

Bake 375° for 20 minutes -- when cool enough to handle dip each muffin into 1/4 pound melted butter then into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
