1/2 cup butter, softened
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese; beat in vanilla. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Shape a tablespoon of dough into 2-inch logs. Place 2 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 375º oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar; cool on wire racks.

This is a richer version of the traditional round pecan snowball cookies. The cream cheese definitely adds another dimension to their taste!
