2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes (1Lg. can)
# 2 can whole kernel corn
2 tsp. chili power (or more)

1 can pitted black olives

3 tbsp. butter or oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 garlic (or more)
1/2 c. chopped green pepper (or more)

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage

Topping:
2 whole eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt (or more)
Mix together with beater

1 1/2 c. grated cheddar or American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer together the first three ingredients for 20 minutes adding some salt.

Next saute the next 4 ingredients adding meat by crumbling into the mixture as it cooks, add salt.
Set oven at 350º; combine both mixtures into 9X13 baking pan. Press olives into mixture. Spoon topping over mixture.

Bake for 1 hour

The last 15 or 20 minutes of baking, sprinkle 1 1/2 grated cheddar or American cheese over the corn meal top; sprinkle paprika over cheese.

Should be removed from oven when done or it dries out.
