2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups quick-cooking oats
Filling:
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; stir in oats. Reserve 1/3 of the oatmeal mixture; set aside. Press remaining mixture into greased 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan; set aside. Filling: In a 2-quart saucepan, heat chocolate chips, milk and butter over low heat. Stir constantly until chocolate chips are melted; remove from heat. Stir in nuts, vanilla and salt. Spread over oatmeal mixture in pan. Drop reserved oatmeal mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto chocolate mixture. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 25 to 30 minutes. While warm, cut into 2x1-inch bars.
