2 lbs. flank steak

Marinade:
2/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. minced green pepper
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. grated ginger
1/2 tsp. Chinese Five Spice
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp. vegetable or sesame oil

Marinade: Combine all the ingredients together in a large zip lock bag. Add flank steak and marinate overnight. Grill to desired preference, then slice meat thin on an angle cross-grain.

This marinade was shared by a coworker and is great with any type of steak. The Chinese Five Spice adds a nice touch. Perfect for summertime grilling.
