1 lb hamburger
1 can pinto beans – rinsed and drained
1 can diced tomatoes – undrained
1 envelope Schilling Chili seasoning

1 recipe of Indian Fry Bread

Shredded cheddar cheese
Chopped lettuce
Salsa
Sour Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the hamburger and drain the grease. Add the tomatoes and stir in the chili seasoning. Add the beans and simmer on low till fry bread is ready.

To assemble Navajo Tacos:
Using the scone as the base layer the ingredients in any order you wish. I like the following order best. Fry bread – chili mixture – salsa – sour cream – cheese – lettuce.

Dessert idea
Make extra fry bread to use for dessert. They are delicious with honey butter. If you make some smaller you can easily roll them in sugar or cinnamon sugar. Yummy!
