Ingredients:  
1 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sifted all purpose floor
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add water and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and pecans. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Shape into balls or fingers.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350º F for about 30 minutes. Cool slightly, roll into confectioners sugar.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
