For Golden Rod

2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt and white pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. If sauce cooks too long, it becomes too thick and butter separates. To repair, stir in a little more milk.
