Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup Domino's dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup Domino's sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg white
1 tsp. water
2 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecan pieces
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, brown sugar, sugar and salt; set aside. In a medium bowl, using a fork, beat 1 egg white with 1 teaspoon water for about 30 seconds or until frothy. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and pecan pieces. Stir until well-coated. Add 1/2 cup of the cocoa powder/sugar mixture; coat well and set aside. Using an electric mixer, beat the butter at medium speed. Slowly add the rest of the cocoa powder/sugar mixture; beat well. Scrape down the sides and add the eggs, egg yolk and vanilla; mix well. Add flour and baking soda at low speed. Add in 2 cups of the chocolate chip/pecan mixture and gently mix until well-incorporated. Drop the dough, about the size of a golf ball, onto parchment-lined cookie sheets. On each ball of dough, put 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate chip/pecan mixture, pressing into the dough with the back of a spoon. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 12 to 18 minutes. Do not over bake.

Personal Notes:
This was another recipe I created for a Domino's Sugar cookie contest. The spiced sugar/nut/chocolate combo just gives them a wonderful crunch!
